What is a fractional CTO?
An experienced chief technology officer who leads technology for one or more companies part-time – typically one to three days per week.
What is the difference to an interim CTO?
An interim CTO usually works for a limited time at high capacity, for example until the role is filled. A fractional CTO supports you long-term with a smaller share of time.
Does the fractional CTO work remotely only?
Yes. We work remotely in your tools, with fixed slots for the team, management and vendors.
How fast can a fractional CTO start?
Usually at short notice after the first meeting. We agree on the exact start date in the intro call.
Can the fractional CTO also build a team?
Yes. If you like, Remoteplatz can add vetted remote engineers, DevOps engineers or product owners straight away.
